Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Cexlens ("we", "us") operates a real-time crypto market-monitoring service. Cexlens is operated by its founder, an individual sole proprietor based in Ukraine, who acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. To reach the controller about your data, use the contact methods below. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it.
2. What we collect
- Account data: email address, hashed password (we never store plaintext passwords), and - if you use Google sign-in - your Google email and name.
- Usage & preferences: plan, notification settings, language, and theme.
- Payment data: processed by our payment provider (NOWPayments). We store only a payment reference and status - never card or wallet credentials.
- Technical data: IP address, request logs, and first-party page-view records (which pages you open), used for security, rate limiting, abuse prevention, and aggregate product insight.
- Advertising & measurement: only if you consent to non-essential cookies, the Google tag (gtag.js / Google Ads) collects identifiers used for conversion measurement and remarketing. Without consent the tag runs in a cookieless, consent-denied mode. See Cookies below.
- Optional: Telegram username if you connect Telegram alerts; messages you send via the contact form.
3. How we use it
- To provide and secure the Service (authentication, plan access, alerts).
- To process payments and grant plan access.
- To send account and verification emails, and notifications you opt into.
- To prevent abuse and maintain reliability.
- To measure marketing campaigns and reach past visitors - only with your consent.
4. Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on these bases: performance of a contract (providing the Service and your account), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, and keeping the Service reliable), consent (advertising/measurement cookies and optional notifications, which you can withdraw at any time), and legal obligation where the law requires it.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers needed to run Cexlens - payment processing (NOWPayments), email delivery, hosting and infrastructure, Google (for sign-in and, with your consent, advertising/measurement) - and where required by law.
6. International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside your country (for example Google in the United States, and our hosting provider in the EU). Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on the providers' safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect it.
7. Retention
We keep account data while your account is active. Operational logs and page-view records are kept for a limited period for security and debugging. You can delete your account yourself at any time - see Delete Your Account - or request deletion via Contact.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
9. Cookies
We use one essential authentication cookie to keep you signed in - it is required for the Service and is always active. With your consent we also set Google advertising and measurement cookies (Google Ads / gtag.js) used for conversion tracking and remarketing. On your first visit a banner lets you Accept or Decline; until you accept, the Google tag runs with consent denied and sets no such cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the cookieConsent value in your browser storage, after which the banner reappears.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
