$9.77M USDC exits a 3.6-year-old wallet on Ethereum – the largest single tracked move on-chain right now.
The source wallet (0xada7…37e6) had been active for over 1,200 days but kept a tight circle, transacting with only six distinct peers in its entire history. The funds moved off the venue in a single transaction and, within the depth we could trace, stayed fully in self-custody – no exchange deposit, mixer hop, bridge, or sanctioned address touched.
It did not scatter, it did not cash out; it simply relocated.
Context sharpens the picture: over the last 24 hours, USDC exchange flows show a decisive $940M of stablecoin inflow against $664M in outflows. Dry powder is arriving, not leaving. A deep-dormant wallet moving a concentrated slug into self-custody while the pipes are flooding with fresh capital is a pattern consistent with a large player repositioning for deployment rather than derisking.
