$50M USDC outflow from Coinbase routed through fresh empty wallets
A single whale transfer dominates on-chain activity, but the withdrawn funds are dispersed across brand-new addresses rather than flowing to a single entity.
The trigger transaction moved $50.00M USDC off Coinbase to wallet 0xe725…118f. From there, the funds passed through a chain of previously-empty wallets and were split across many addresses at once.
The receiving wallet is 1.6 years old with only two distinct peer wallets in its history. Over the past 24 hours, however, USDC exchange flows show net dry powder arriving: $747.37M in versus $491.01M out across 9,522 transfers.
This single departure runs against the broader inflow trend.
One whale is isolating capital off-venue in a fresh, fragmented structure. The wider market is still loading exchanges with stablecoins, making this move an isolated repositioning rather than a shift in aggregate direction.
